SATURN AWARDS 2021: ANNUNCIATE LE NOMINATION, IN TESTA STAR WARS E TENET
La Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films ha svelato ieri le nomination alla 46a edizione dei Saturn Awards. In testa, Star Wars: L’ascesa di Skywalker e Tenet.
Sono state annunciate ieri, dall’Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films, le nomination alla 46a edizione dei Saturn Awards, premi dedicati al cinema e alla fiction televisiva di genere. Tra i nominati del grande schermo, in testa troviamo Star Wars: L’ascesa di Skywalker, che ha ottenuto ben 12 candidature tra cui quella per il miglior film di fantascienza; il film di J.J. Abrams, datato 2019, è stato considerato candidabile in quanto, a causa della pandemia, gli organizzatori hanno deciso di estendere il periodo di eleggibilità alla fascia temporale compresa tra il 15 luglio 2019 e il 15 novembre 2020.
Gli altri titoli cinematografici che hanno ricevuto un buon numero di candidature sono Tenet di Christopher Nolan e Doctor Sleep di Mike Flanagan, con rispettivamente otto e nove nomination a testa; a questi, si affiancano titoli rilevanti del 2020 come Mulan, Birds of Prey e la fantasmagorica rinascita di Harley Quinn e The Old Guard, accanto a veri e propri hit dello scorso anno quali C’era una volta a… Hollywood, Joker, Parasite e 1917.
Tra le serie tv candidate, vanno segnalate almeno Better Call Saul della AMC, Outlander di Starz e l’immarcescibile The Walking Dead della AMC, con otto nomination a testa.
